Holiday Bungalow
The bungalow sleeps up to four people and has its own lime stone walled garden. The property has been thoughtfully decorated throughout. We also offer glamping holidays in our traditional shepherd huts, self catering or bed and breakfast basis - for more details see our website.The kitchen and utility area are fully equipped and will suit all your needs. Appliances include washing machine, tumble dryer, electric cooker, microwave, fridge and freezer. The adjoining hallway leads to the bathroom which has a shower, wash basin, WC and shaver point. The dining room and adjoining lounge comes with satellite TV, DVD player and a selection of books.
Near the front door entrance is a ground floor twin room. The stair case leads to the double bedroom and on the opposite landing is a bedroom with single bed.
Outside is a lawned garden. A patio area has a table and chairs, ideal for a spot of alfresco dining.
Shepherd's Huts
Our two traditional shepherd's huts Lily and Fern are in the perfect location to relax and unwind. Take a step back in time to the days of simplicity, with no electricity, television or internet. Just relax and unwind with nature on your doorstep. A BBQ and camping stove is provided to cook meals, or you can order a breakfast hamper from us which we can deliver to your door! We are surrounded by hills, dales, trails and are perfect for walkers and cyclists. You can stroll over the hills and down the dale to the hamlet of Milldale. Down the river is the famous ‘stepping stones’ at Dovedale. You can cycle through the pretty village of Tissington. Cycle hire is available at Parsley Hay and Mappleton. Nearby Carsington Water, Severn Trent Reservoir is a great site for outdoor pursuits. The visitor centre houses a number of shops as well as an interactive exhibit. A range of superb attractions are worth exploring:Chatsworth House.
