Silk Cottage is a self catering holiday home that can be found on the outskirts of Eyam in the Hope Valley, Derbyshire. Our lovely little holiday cottage is perfect for the solo traveller or for a couple who want a romantic weekend away in the Peak District.

About Silk Cottage

Our adult only holiday cottage has been carefully restored from part of an old silk mill that was built in 1735. The holiday cottage can sleep a maximum of 2 people and is tastefully decorated and furnished to provide guests with a relaxing retreat.

Our 4 star holiday cottage has a fully equipped modern kitchen and dining area that has all the equipment and utensils you may need during your stay. On the first floor is the living/bedroom which is equipped with a flat screen TV, DVDs, stereo & iPod docking station.

The holiday cottage is a lovely retreat and is somewhere you can escape from the stresses of life.

Local Area

Being located within the Peak District means there are a wealth of activities available to suit all ages and fitness levels. For the adventurous why not take on an arduous hike along one of the many trails through this stunning area of countryside or if you would prefer something easier there are many gentle strolls that start from the front door of the holiday cottage.

Whatever your reason for visiting the Peak District, Silk Cottage provides you with homely, well appointed accommodation, in a picturesque setting.
