The Sail Loft Bunkhouse offers delightful self catering accommodation in Portsoy. Our brand new hostel in Aberdeenshire boasts fabulous views over Links Bay Beach.

Accommodation

Our bunkhouse has 10 bedrooms all together. All the bedrooms come with high-quality mattresses, supplied by Glencraft in Aberdeen. All bed linen is provided.

All our bedrooms have their own reading light and an individual secure locker which offers space for mobile devices etc. Cots can be provided.

We have two bunkrooms: 1 with 4 beds (2 bunks) and 1 with 6 beds (3 bunks). There are 4 two bed rooms with a cot if required and two 3 bed rooms, with space for a cot. A single bed, wheelchair accessible room its adjacent to a private toilet and shower room.

We have modern clean male and female toilets and showers. Hair dryers are available.

Facilities include an open plan kitchen and dining area with a range of appliances: hobs, microwave ovens, fridges, kettles and toasters. You can unwind in the lounge which comes with a wood-burning stove and a video projector. There is a laundrette and a drying room.

Outside we have a walled garden with a BBQ for al fresco dining. Soak yourself in the wood-fired hot tub.

Visiting Portsoy & Exploring Aberdeenshire

Whilst staying with us you can enjoy lovely sea walks or see the local wildlife. Visit The Salmon Bothy in Portsoy, home to a museum and a base for Family History Research. You can head to one of the nearby towns or villages. Attractions to visit include:

Boyne Castle.
Portsoy harbour.
Castle Fraser, Garden & Estate.
Duff House.
Findlater Castle.
