AccommodationThis beautiful property is within the remains of the old medieval city walls in a Grade II Listed building. The composer Sir Edward Elgar, whose works include Pomp and Circumstance March No.1 (Land of Hope and Glory) and the Enigma Variations, lived here as a child in Victorian times.
Our elegant house is furnished to the highest standards and sleeps up to 5 people plus 1. On the ground floor, there is a kitchen/diner which is fully equipped with a range of appliances: range cooker, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and a washer/dryer. There is access to an enclosed rear courtyard with seating and a BBQ. Ideal for a spot of al fresco dining. The living room comes with one 3 seater sofa, a two seater sofa, an armchair and a footstool. A wood burner will keep you warm and toasty and facilities include a flat-screen TV with Freeview and a Blu-ray DVD player. A large oak coffee-style table made of reclaimed oak from a Worcestershire flour mill is perfect for playing board games on.
On the first floor, there is a master bedroom with a king size bed and glorious views over the cathedral. The room comes with a sofa and two chairs. A separate WC is on the same floor. The shower room is on the second floor and comes with a modern shower. Two further bedrooms include a room with two single divan style beds and a room with a 4ft divan bed. Both rooms enjoy wonderful cathedral views. All bed linen and towels are provided.
Visiting Worcester & Exploring WorcestershireWorcester is famous for its stunning Norman cathedral and musical, cultural and industrial heritage. The Royal Worcester Porcelain Museum is a two minute walk away and lots of restaurants, pubs, clubs and bars are within walking distance. Worcester has some of the best shopping opportunities in the West Midlands, from high-quality brands to independents. Lots of excellent attractions are in the local area:
