It is reached via a quarter of a mile track and is in a very rural position. Guests will enjoy a south-facing private decked area with far-reaching views across fields and farmland which is perfect for watching the sun go down. Leading directly from the cottage is an extensive network of footpaths and bridleways where badgers, woodpeckers, buzzards and owls may be seen. Tenbury wells, an attractive spa and market town in the Teme Valley is 4 miles away and the fine Georgian town of Ludlow is only a 2-minute drive.

Head for the hills and the dancing daffodils. In the expansive grounds of a 16th-century timber-framed house, this is the perfect retreat à deux. Way up a simple track, your stone-walled, stone-tiled hideaway was built almost entirely from locally reclaimed materials. Inside its open plan and easy. Settle on the weighty leather chesterfield, toes directed at a wood-burner stacked high with logs from the nearby woods. The kitchen, of hand-crafted oak, has masses of space, a double Belfast sink and proper wooden floorboards throughout. Exposed beams frame the bright bedroom; the shower room is a step away. There is a BBQ available for guests' use.The Coach House offers magnificent views in all directions over the Teme and Kyre valleys, ancient woodland and unspoilt farmland. There are lovely walks available. The property is a converted coach house located in a rural position. Guests will enjoy a private decked area in the grounds of Fishpools which has an ancient oak woodland.
Visiting Tenbury Wells & Exploring Worcestershire
Leading directly from the property is an extensive network of footpaths and bridleways where badgers and owls may be seen. Tenbury Wells, an attractive spa and market town in the Teme Valley, is three miles away. The fine Georgian town of Ludlow is a twenty-minute drive away.It would be a treat of an evening to follow the babbling brook through the ancient orchid-dotted woodland, rest awhile at the owner's perfect little treehouse (with hammocks), then retire to your own private viewpoint with its picture-postcard views across open pastures to the Teme and Kyre Valleys. Venture further to foodie Ludlow, book-lined Hay-on-Wye and the grand industrial heritage that is Ironbridge. Take to the slow life on the steam railway, stride out on the Mortimer Trail, meander through forgotten Herefordshire villages. Buzzards soar overhead, rabbits scamper in the fields that surround you.
