The Thatched Hive in Bodenham offers superb self catering accommodation. Our gorgeous 16th Century thatched cottage is nestled down a peaceful road by the river Avon, perfect for a memorable country escape. We are close to the bustling city of Salisbury and a range of attractions in Wiltshire.

Accommodation

Our charming cottage sleeps up to 4 people and is great for a magical getaway. The cottage is beautifully furnished and comes with high-quality facilities to suit all your needs.

Downstairs there is a fully-equipped kitchen with a range of excellent appliances for home cooking and toasty underfloor heating for the winter months. Savour some delicious meals around the elegant dining table with your loved one. A useful utility room is perfect for leaving grubby boots after a day in the countryside. A cosy living area comes with stylish seating and a flat-screen TV.

Upstairs there are gorgeous bedrooms, with both enjoying delightful views over the garden. The rooms boast a fabulous blend of modern and antique furniture.

Outside there is a pretty south-facing cottage garden with outdoor furniture for al fresco dining over a few glasses of wine.

Visiting Bodenham & Exploring Wiltshire

Only 10 minutes away is Downton, home to The Goat and The Wooden Spoon, both highly recommended. Visit the wonderful city of Salisbury, famous for its cathedral, museums and interesting independent shops. The city also has the Charter Market on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Brilliant attractions to visit include:
