Morsgail Lodge is a traditional style lodge built in 1986. It is located on the 14,000 acre Morsgail Estate. The estate is celebrated for its prolific salmon river and renown stag forest. It is on the west coast of the Isle of Lewis. This island is the largest of the Western Isles. It has breathtaking landscape and plenty of activities.

About Morsgail Lodge

The lodge has been modernised and accommodates 10 people. Bedrooms consist of 3 doubles and 2 twins. It has plenty of space for guests including a drawing room. kitchen/diner and living room. The drawing room has a wood burner and the kitchen has wonderful loch views.

It benefits from having a separate utility room with clothes washing facilities and fishing/gun room.

Visiting Uig & Exploring the Western Isles

Just a 10 minutes’ drive away is a community shop selling basic supplies. A community café five minutes’ drive away provides evening meals and lunches.

As well as fishing and stalking other activities available include walking, surfing and golfing.

The Isle of Lewis is steeped in history and culture, ranging back thousands of years. There are some beautiful places to visit such as the Callanish Stones, Lewis Castle and Dun Carloway.
