The house comfortably accommodates up to ten adults across five bedrooms, including one king, two doubles and two twins. Inside, you'll find a large living room, a sunroom filled with natural light, a generous dining kitchen and a separate dining room that can easily seat everyone. Ideal for families, groups of friends, nature enthusiasts and mountaineers, the property also offers convenient ground-floor living with a double and a twin bedroom as well as a family bathroom, making it suitable for guests with limited mobility.

Children will find plenty to do, with a spacious grassy garden perfect for play, a nearby stream for paddling and a beach where they can search for shells. On rainy days, the house offers a small DVD collection, a large library, a selection of family board games and toys for younger children. Off-street parking is available for up to four cars and the attached garage and ample storage space make it easy to bring along outdoor gear such as bikes and kayaks.

The property sits on a point within its expansive garden, which backs onto Upper Loch Torridon and is bordered by a small river. There’s a large outdoor dining table with seating for everyone and the back lawn is ideal for games like croquet (a set is provided), football, and more. A stile provides quick and easy access to the loch, perfect for spontaneous adventures.

After a day spent exploring the hills, coast, and local area, guests can unwind in the cosy living room by a roaring log fire or sip a glass of wine in the sunroom while taking in the panoramic views. Wildlife enthusiasts will be thrilled by the frequent sightings of herons, otters, porpoises, and pine martens right from the house.

The surrounding area is a haven for outdoor activities including hiking, mountain biking, fishing, kayaking and climbing. Kayaks can be launched from just beyond the garden wall and boats can be launched nearby for diving or fishing trips in the loch.

Ben View is also well situated for exploring the wider area. Within a short drive, you can visit Torridon village, the Beinn Eighe Nature Reserve, the Applecross Peninsula, Gairloch, Shieldaig, Inverewe Gardens, Ullapool, Loch Ewe and even the Isle of Skye.
