About Lane Farm Holiday Cottages

Trough Cottage and Mount View give guests the opportunity to enjoy a stay in the stunning Peak District National Park in the comfort of good quality self catering en suite accommodation with outstanding moorland views. The cottage can be internally access for larger parties of up to eleven people. Trough Cottage sleeps five (plus sofa bed for two) and Mount View sleeps six people.

Mount View

This charming property sleeps 6 in two double rooms, including one en suite, a twin and family bathroom. On the ground floor there is a spacious kitchen/diner, separate lounge and WC, with glorious views across the Holme Valley.

Trough Cottage

Our fabulous cottage sleeps 5 in a double en suite, twin and single room. There is also a family bathroom. Both rooms boast breathtaking views and on the ground floor there is a spacious open plan kitchen/dining/ling space, a double sofa bed and WC.

Both properties come with a range of superb facilities:

Two fully equipped kitchens, each with oven, hob, microwave, washer/dryer, fridge, freezer and docking station radios.
Lots of dining facilities, both inside and outside.
Relaxing lounge areas with Freeview TV/DVD player.
Free WiFi.
Board games, playing cards, jigsaws and books are available in the lounge areas.
Luxurious cotton bed linen and soft towels, lovely duvets with gorgeous throws and cushions.
Tiled shower/bathrooms.
Gated area in front of the cottages and in the field beyond.
Hot tubs can be hired when the two cottages are booked together- please enquire for details.

There is ample parking in the cobbled courtyard situated next to the cottages. They have a shared patio and garden where guests can relax and enjoy the fabulous scenery up to Holme Moss.

Visiting Holme & Exploring West Yorkshire

The village of holme is the perfect base for exploring the local area. Nearby Holmfirth is a picture postcard town which is popular with walkers and wildlife lovers alike. Here you will the David Brown Tractor Museum which displays a range of tractor memorabilia. You can also take a journey on the Kirklees Light Railway. Fishing and golf is also nearby.
