Visiting Arandel & Exploring West SussexBeautiful unlimited walks right outside the door in every direction through National Trust and Forestry Commission woods to the top of the Downs and the South Downs Way.
Historic Arundel 3 miles (able to be walked through woods). Roman and cathedral town of Chichester 8 miles. Unspoiled country pubs by short drive or by walks over the Downs. Arundel Castle; Historic Houses: Uppark, Petworth Park, Parham Park and Roman villas nearby. Goodwood races (gee gees and vintage motors festival of speed) and Weald & Downland Museum's 40 historic buildings from 950 AD (6 miles).
One of South Coast’s few good sandy beaches 25 mins drive at West Wittering.
