The Cider House is a characterful self catering home situated in the idyllic and historic village of Wilmcote, about 4 miles from William Shakespear's birthplace of Stratford upon Avon.
The AccommodationThis purpose built holiday home is a reconstruction of a building from Iron Bridge. We have been sympathetic in the build, keeping as much character as possible and using many of the original materials.
There is a private gated entrance to The Cider House and parking for two cars. Inside there is a sitting room with log burner, full Sky HD Package, 32" LED TV, Bluray player and selection of DVDs.
The kitchen is fully equipped including washing machine and there is a welcome basket ready for your arrival including some cider of course!
The bedroom has an en suite bathroom and bed linen and towels are included.
Outside there is a large patio area with garden furniture and there is a garden to enjoy with landscaping.
The AreaWilmcote itself is very historic with Mary Arden's Farm being located here. This is a Tudor farm where Shakespeare's mother lived and worked. Also, there are canal walks just 5 minutes walk from The Cider House and Wilmcote even has a train station with direct links to Stratford upon Avon, Birmingham and London. Further afield, just a few miles away is Stratford upon Avon where there are lots of attractions to discover including:
Shakespeare's Birth Place.
Nash's House & New Place.
Anne Hathways Cottage.
Royal Shakespeare Theatre.
Stratford upon Avon Racecourse.
