Loanan offers wonderful self catering accommodation in the picturesque hamlet of Inchnadamph, surrounded by stunning scenery. We are situated in a truly gorgeous part of Assynt in Sutherland, offering glorious views over Loch Assynt and the mountains.
AccommodationOur cosy bungalow is perfect for an idyllic getaway in a breathtaking location. A beautiful Scottish burn runs nearby whilst magnificent views can be savoured from throughout the property. The house sleeps up to 4 people and is tastefully furnished to suit all your needs.
A contemporary living room is a great place to relax in after a busy day of sightseeing. Majestic views of Loch Assynt can be enjoyed from the patio doors. Two lovely bedrooms are available: a double and a twin. Both rooms come with bedding and towels. Cook up a storm in the well-equipped kitchen/dining room which has a range of appliances to suit all your needs.
The back door has a ramp for easy access to the garden, with a delightful bubbling burn nearby. A bathroom comes with a shower over the bath. The garden has a picnic bench, the perfect spot for al fresco dining whilst savouring the glorious views.
Visiting Inchnadamph & Exploring SutherlandWe are fortunate to be in a brilliant position for exploring the area, with an abundance of walks right on our doorstep. This magnificent Highland region has a skyline dominated by the iconic peaks of Cornival, Quinag, Suilven, Stac Pollaidh, Ben More and Canisp. The quaint village of Lochinver is only 13 miles away and home to a natural harbour, restaurants, cafes, small shops and two pubs. Locally you can also enjoy mountain biking, hill walking and fishing.
You can play a round of golf at Ullapool Golf Club in Wester Ross or canoe or sail throughout the abundance of lochs and lochans in the area. Sutherland is also home to some of the best Brown Trout fishing in Scotland. Further attractions to see include:
