Callander is set in the scenic Trossachs Area forming the most beautiful part of Scotland’s first National Park – the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park. It is best described as a tapestry of mountains, tree clad hills together with pleasant towns and villages the largest of which is Callander. This is the ideal location for walking, cycling, motoring and golfing holidays. There is also a sports centre in the town.
These are 2 attractive stone built cottages about ½ mile west of Callander at Kilmahog, 200 yards from the Lade country pub. It is also a short walk from 2 woollen mills both of which have tea rooms. This is also the home of “Hamish” the famous highland bull. The Callander to Strathyre cycle track & many fine walks are close by. Cycle storage is available at owner’s risk. There is also a sports centre and many fine shops in the town. This is an ideal holiday location to suit all tastes.
The accommodation is graded 4 stars by Visit Scotland indicating a very good standard.
Each cottage offers the following:- Lounge/dining room – 2 bedrooms – bathroom with bath & shower over – towels and bed linen – heating (£1 coin meter) – private parking & garden area.
Auld Toll House : Sleeps 3 in a double bedroom and a single bedroom.
Auld Toll Cottage : Sleeps 4 in a double bedroom and a twin bedroom.
Rates : From £175 to £500 per week depending on season & unit.
Maximum of 4 people. Children are welcome.
No smoking. Sorry, no pets.
