Summary

Located in the heart of rural Somerset tucked away in a quiet corner of the village with views of the Mendip hills and Glastonbury Tor. The Annex is an ideal base for touring the West Country.

The accommodation consists of :

Centrally heated, self contained, two storey annex with a fully equipped kitchen and dining area including full sized cooker, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, and washing machine (use of tumble drier by arrangement with owner). The comfortable lounge with reclining chair has all mod cons including TV (with Freeveiw), radio/CD/cassette,
video and DVD players. Upstairs there is a spacious airy double bedroom with ample storage and the bathroom with in-bath shower.

Included in the cost is all bed linen, towels and tea towels and a welcome box of essentials to get you started.

Guests are welcome to use the garden as there is ample seating (BBQ available on request). Parking is offroad.

We are 1 ½ miles from the local shop, baker and Post Office in Keinton Mandeville (includes an excellent butcher selling local produce), ½ mile to the village pub.

Barton St David is ideally situated for not only the NorthSomerset coast but also the Dorset coastline.

The Somerset levels and surrounding area has over 1,000miles of footpaths and bridleways making it excellent forwalking, cycling or riding.

For house and garden enthusiasts we are close to StourHead, Montacute, Tintinhull House, Barrington Court,and Lytes Cary Manor all National Trust owned andprivate gardens such as Hadspen House, East LambrookManor, Lower Severalls and Hestercombe to name but afew.

Rates : From £180 to £250 per week depending on season. Short breaks available - please enquire.
Maximum of 2 people. Sorry, no children or pets.
