Accommodation

We carefully converted the original Victorian stable blocks and courtyard into a range of outstanding self-catering cottages in a secluded setting, all with courtyard parking.

The Bell Tower is the penthouse of Elmhay Village. Downstairs is a large living area with lounge furniture and dining table and chairs and the living area also incorporates a fitted Kitchen. Upstairs is a spacious bedroom with a massive four-poster bed and a built-in dressing table. The en suite bathroom has a walk-in shower, an oval-shaped Jacuzzi bath, 2 wash basins, a bidet and WC.

The Clock Tower is a three story, three bedroom house. Downstairs is an entrance hall leading to a large living area with lounge furniture, dining table and chairs and the living area also incorporates a fitted Kitchen. On the first floor, there is a double bedroom and a twin bedroom both with en suite bath with handheld shower and WC. The bathroom to the Tower bedroom is also on the first floor, this comprises of a large walk-in shower, separate bath, wash basin and WC.

The Stable is a two story lodge. Downstairs is a large living area with lounge furniture and a dining table and chairs. The living area also incorporates a fitted Kitchen. The Stable also has a downstairs WC. Upstairs there is a double bedroom and a twin bedroom both with an en suite bath with hand held shower, wash basin and WC.

The Coach House is a two story lodge. Downstairs is a large living area with lounge furniture, dining table and chair. The living area also incorporates a fitted Kitchen. There is also a sofa bed downstairs. Upstairs there is a double bedroom and a twin bedroom both with en suite bath and hand held shower, wash basin and WC.

The Dairy is a two story lodge. Downstairs there is a large living area with lounge furniture, dining tables and chairs this area also incorporates a fitted Kitchen. Upstairs there is a double bedroom and a twin bedroom with en suite bath with hand held shower, wash basin and WC.

Kent's Cottage is a two story lodge. Downstairs there is a large living area with lounge furniture, dining tables and chairs this area also incorporates a fitted Kitchen. Upstairs there is a double bedroom and a twin bedroom with en suite bath with hand held shower, wash basin and WC.

Miss Marples is a two story lodge. Downstairs is split into living area with lounge furniture and a dining area with dining table and chairs which also incorporates a fitted Kitchen. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms with a double and a single bed in each, both with an en suite shower, wash basin and WC.

The Hay Loft is a two story lodge. Downstairs is a large living area with lounge furniture, dining table and chairs and the living area also incorporates a fitted Kitchen. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms with a double and a single bed in each both with en suite shower, wash basin and WC.

The Bull Pen & Wood Cutters are smaller single story lodges that are annexed to The Dairy & The Coach House respectively. They both have fitted kitchens, a double bedroom & a twin bedroom; they share a shower room with, wash basin and WC.

Garden House is a large 5 bedroom family house, parts of which date back to the 16th Century. It’s situated in the heart of the Estate in its own private garden with garden furniture, BBQ and lots of parking to the side. On the ground floor, there’s a comfortable lounge with an open fireplace, furnished with a 5-piece suite and double bed settee, TV, VCR and DVD, a large dining room, fully fitted kitchen with electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave, fridge and freezer. A washing machine and tumble dryer are situated in the utility room.

From the lounge, a hallway leads to a downstairs bedroom with an adjacent bathroom. Stairs from the hall lead to the first floor of the house, comprising of four bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a king size bed along with a shower en suite. Bedroom 2 has a king-size bed and is also an en suite. Bedroom 3 has a double king size bed and Bedroom 4 has two single beds, both sharing one bathroom.

Garden Cottage is a large 4 bedroom family house, parts of which date back to the 16th Century. It’s situated in the heart of the Estate on the edge of Orchardleigh Village with its own walled garden with garden furniture and BBQ, and parking to the front. Rental includes all bed linen, towels, electricity and central heating.

Visiting Frome & Exploring Somerset

There are many things to do in the local area including exploring the beautiful countryside. There are stunning walks and great places to cycle. Guests can also visit the famous city of Wells where they can explore the stunning cathedral, wander around the shops and visit one of the coffee shops.

The many nearby attractions include the Roman Spa City of Bath (10 miles), the Cathedral city of Wells, Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, Glastonbury Tor, Museum and Abbey, Clarke’s shopping village at Street, Stourhead House and Gardens, all approximately 30 minutes drive. Stonehenge, Salisbury, Weston-Super-Mare, the Bristol Channel coast and the South Coast are all within an easy travelling distance. Close by is the impressive Longleat Estate and world famous Safari Park.
