Quarme Cottage offers superb self catering accommodation in Exford. Based near Minehead in Somerset, we are nestled just off a bridleway to Dunkery Beacon in the centre of Exmoor National Park. We are a paradise for countryside lovers and enjoy magnificent views over Winsford Hill.


Our beautiful cottage has been fully modernised to offer high-quality accommodation. The property sleeps up to 6 people.

The homely sitting room comes with a toasty wood-burning stove, TV, DVD player and radio. A lovely spot for relaxing with friends or family after a day in the countryside. A spacious breakfast room/kitchen comes with a range of appliances including a dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer. French doors open onto a lovely enclosed yard. You can also unwind in the delightful conservatory/garden room which has a wood burner stove, corner sofa and slate dining table, perfect for reading a good book over a cup of coffee.

Two twin bedrooms and a bathroom are upstairs and one twin room and bath/shower room are downstairs.

Outside there is a delightful garden and a great outdoor area for older children on its terraced slope. Small children would need to be supervised in this area but there is a secure gated yard.

Visiting Exford & Exploring Somerset

Just a 1/2 mile walk away down a peaceful lane you will find the village shops, including a post office and general store. Within easy reach are Porlock, Dulverton, Dunster, Lynton and Minehead. Horseriding can also be arranged easily in the area. Great attractions to visit while staying with us include:

Exmoor Owl and Hawk Centre.
Wimbleball Lake Country Park.
Dunster Water Mill.
Dunster Castle.
Minehead Beach.
