This charming, beautifully restored cottage sleeps up to two guests, making it perfect for a romantic escape and offers comfortable accommodation throughout. On the ground floor, you’ll find a spacious sitting room with French windows, a TV, DVD player, stereo system and two large sofas, an inviting space to unwind after a day exploring the countryside, alongside a well-equipped kitchen and dining area featuring an inglenook fireplace with a multifuel stove, electric cooker with fan oven, microwave and fridge with freezer compartment.

Upstairs, the generous bedroom has original beams and includes a TV and tea and coffee facilities, with twin beds that can be linked together on request, while the bathroom is fitted with a bath and overhead shower, WC and washbasin.

Outside, a patio area with table and chairs provides a lovely setting for relaxing in the afternoon sun, complemented by a summer house and two sun loungers to complete the peaceful outdoor space.

West Chinnock is ideally placed for exploring some of the most attractive corners of Somerset and the wider West Country. Just a short drive away, the market town of Ilminster offers independent shops, cafés and a welcoming atmosphere, while the larger town of Yeovil provides additional amenities and attractions. For history lovers, Montacute House, a magnificent Elizabethan mansion managed by the National Trust, is nearby and surrounded by beautiful gardens and parkland. The picturesque village of Barrington is home to Barrington Court, another stunning historic property. Nature enthusiasts can enjoy walks across the rolling countryside or venture a little further to the dramatic landscapes of Ham Hill Country Park, known for its sweeping views and rich history.
