About Willow Farm Cottages

Both of the cottages have been tastefully decorated and furnished throughout, providing a place that is comfortable and homely. Each cottage has the following facilities:

The Old Stable

Sleeping up to 4 people, this cottage is perfect for a couple or small family. On the ground floor is a living room with patio doors to the private patio, dining room and kitchen. The double bedroom is on this floor and there are paddle stairs leading up to the galleried twin bedroom.

The Cobbles

The larger of the two cottages, this property can sleep up to 6 people. The master bedroom and two single rooms are on the ground floor, with an additional twin bedroom on the gallery which is accessed via paddle stairs. Also on the ground floor is the living room with patio doors and the dining room/kitchen.

Visiting West Pennard & Exploring Somerset

West Pennard is a lovely village at the foot of Pennard Hill near Glastonbury. The Monarchs Way long distance footpath passes through the village and there are many organised tours, walks and listed footpaths within the immediate area, in the Mendip Hills and along the Somerset Levels.

Just a short drive from the village is the mystical town of Glastonbury. Attractions in Glastonbury include:

Climbing the tor for magnificent views.
The Chalice Well and Rural Life Museum
The high street itself encompassing the myths, legends and spiritual ambience of the town.
Glastonbury Abbey.

The city of Wells with its cathedral and Bishops Palace is within a 20 minute drive. As are The Royal Bath and West Showground at Shepton Mallet and Wookey Hole Caves. The Fleet Air Museum at Yeovilton and Cheddar Gorge are approximately a 30 minute drive.

For retail therapy, the factory outlet centre of Clarks Village in Street is a 20 minute drive away. The cities of Bath and Bristol are both within an hours’ drive.
