The Artpad is a luxury self catering apartment situated in the widest and grandest street in Bath.
AccommodationThis elegant ground floor apartment has been recently refurbished to a high standard with modern touches but also in keeping with its Georgian history. The Artpad is decorated with several local artistsí work which can be purchased or just enjoyed. The apartment has gas central heating, a flatscreen TV with DVD and BT Vision Channels and free unlimited WiFi throughout.
The large drawing room, overlooking Great Pulteney Street, has double arched sash windows, a decorative fire place, high ceilings, chandeliers and cornices which make the apartment feel grand, light and inviting. There are 3 sofas, one of which becomes a double sofa bed to provide additional sleeping space if needed.
The kitchen with its South facing views is bright, cheerful and fully equipped with all the mod-cons.
The bathroom offers a bath with fitted shower and screen, basin, loo, heated towel rail and hand sensitive lit mirror.
Reading Room & Balcony is a brand new addition to the apartment, and can be accessed from either the Bedroom or the Kitchen. It provides a very cosy and light area to just relax in and enjoy the views over the Recreation Ground and the hills beyond. Alternatively open the folding French windows and sit out on the balcony with a relaxing aperitif before heading out to one of the many fine Restaurants or Pubs that Bath has to offer.
The bedroom with a grand Superking size bed has been furnished with both antique and modern touches to ensure comfort and grandeur. With its high corniced ceiling this room feels large and inviting and is separated from the drawing room by the original full height Georgian marriage doors.
LocationThe World Heritage City of Bath has welcomed visitors for almost two millennia. In times past they were drawn to its famous baths for their healing properties. Then came the Roman invasion in AD 43. The Romans brought with them their technology and architecture which is still very evident throughout the city. Todays visitors are drawn to Bath for a variety of reasons: Its baths, history, the Arts, award winning restaurants, hotels, shopping, sporting events and just the beauty of the city.
