Orchard Cottage provides fabulous self catering accommodation in the delightful hamlet of Strefford. Our cottage near Craven Arms is nestled in the heart of the scenic South Shropshire rolling countryside, a haven for relaxation and peace.

Accommodation

This charming cottage is beautifully furnished and offers homely accommodation in a gorgeous countryside setting. The house sleeps up to 4 people and outside there are secluded gardens to enjoy.

On the ground floor, there is an elegant sitting room with a flat-screen TV, Blu-Ray player, Hi-Fi and comfortable seating. In the winter months, the wood-burning stove will keep you nice and warm. A well-equipped kitchen comes with a range of appliances to cater for your needs, including a fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and microwave.

The first floor has two bedrooms: 1 double and 1 twin. Both rooms share a bathroom with a shower over the bath and a WC. All bed linen and towels are included.

Outside there is a lovely patio area, a great spot for a morning coffee whilst looking over the splendid views of the garden.

Visiting Strefford & Exploring Shropshire

Lots of wonderful walks are available right on our doorstep. The local area also has a great range of pubs and restaurants which serves fantastic food. We are 10 minutes from Church Stretton, 15 minutes to Ludlow and 30 minutes to Shrewsbury. In Craven Arms you can wander around Stokesay Castle, a striking 13th Century manor house and moat. The Shropshire Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, is great for keen ramblers. Brilliant attractions to visit include:

Mortimer Forest.
Shrewsbury Abbey.
Shrewsbury Museum & Art Gallery.
Shrewsbury Prison.
