Dimpleknowe Cottage offers delightful self catering accommodation in Lilliesleaf. We are nestled in a quiet country rural estate that boasts its own informal golf course, ideal for a memorable golfing holiday in the Scottish Borders. You can visit Melrose and a range of attractions in the local area whilst staying with us.

Our cosy bungalow is ideal for a relaxing rural getaway in a scenic location. The property is tastefully furnished and sleeps up to 5 people.

Inside we have a comfortable sitting room with an open fire, 42" flatscreen TV with Freeview and a DVD player. You can enjoy the views from the lounge and also watch the birds collect food from the bird table. The well-equipped kitchen/dining area has a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, cooker, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer. There is a large dining table with seating for five people.

There are three bedrooms - a double, a twin room with en suite bathroom and a single bedroom. We can also provide a travel cot if required. The family bathroom has a bath with shower over and grab rails are fitted as well. Bed linen is provided, but please bring your own bedding for the cot.

Outside there is parking for two or three cars and the south-facing garden has garden furniture including sun loungers. The adjacent golf course makes an excellent place for exercising the dogs.

Lilliesleaf Golf Course offers a fun course for the less discerning golfer. Dress is informal and dogs & children are welcome. There are 11 challenging holes and the course measures 2563 yards. Lilliesleaf, a peaceful village in the Scottish Borders, is well placed for exploring a range of nearby attractions rich in history and natural beauty. Just a short drive away, the town of Melrose is home to the impressive Melrose Abbey, one of the finest monastic ruins in the UK. Nearby, Abbotsford, the former home of Sir Walter Scott, offers a fascinating insight into the life of the famous writer. The surrounding Eildon Hills provide excellent walking opportunities with panoramic views across the countryside. A little further afield, the market town of Jedburgh features the striking Jedburgh Abbey and a rich heritage to explore. With its combination of historic landmarks, scenic landscapes, and charming towns, the area around Lilliesleaf makes an ideal destination for visitors seeking both relaxation and discovery.
