The house enjoys breathtaking views across the lake and golf course from all principal rooms and combines exceptional luxury with plenty of space and activities for both adults and children. The property is designed to feel indulgent yet relaxed, offering comfort, privacy and fun in equal measure.
Hidden Lake is a large and beautifully appointed home with an indoor swimming pool, sauna and steam room, as well as a hot tub and a generous sun terrace with a barbecue. There is a private football pitch with floodlights, a well-equipped gym, a dedicated office and a wide range of entertainment options including table tennis, pool, darts and a spacious playroom with double-height ceilings, a slide and a basketball area. The house also features multiple reception rooms, six bedrooms, six bathrooms and gated parking for several cars.
The location and views are even more impressive in person, offering a rare sense of seclusion while remaining close to award-winning beaches, bakeries, coffee shops, restaurants and food shops. Every detail of the house has been carefully considered, with no expense spared. Expansive panes of glass frame the scenery, complemented by luxury Gaggenau appliances, bespoke built-in furniture and cleverly designed hidden rooms.
Inside the house, children will find a large playroom filled with toys and games, while adults can enjoy a comfortable lounge with a large television. There is also a separate TV room for children, which is well used and shows signs of family life, including some marks and stains from regular use. Guests are welcome to enjoy the gym facilities, including the Peloton, although you will need your own Peloton account to use it.
The master bedroom features a dramatic fixed glass window with uninterrupted views down the lake, along with a large private terrace. Three further bedrooms have balconies overlooking the lake and golf course, while another bedroom benefits from a corner window seat with floor-to-ceiling glazing and views of the garden and water beyond.
The garden is designed for outdoor fun, with two slides leading from the terrace, one smaller slide and a larger tunnel slide suitable for children and adventurous adults alike. There are also swings and a large trampoline, making it an ideal space for families. Some of Dorset’s most beautiful beaches are close by, including Sandbanks Beach, which is just over a mile away.
Guests have access to the entire house and grounds, including the garden, football pitch, sauna, steam room, hot tub, games room and playroom. The only areas not accessible are the garage and a small storage cupboard on each floor.
For an additional charge, a beach hut can be rented at Branksome Chine Beach. The hut includes cooking facilities, chairs, cutlery, crockery and a selection of toys and games.
Poole in Dorset and its surrounding area offer a fantastic mix of coastal charm, natural beauty and family-friendly attractions. You can relax on golden sandy beaches like the famous Sandbanks Beach and explore Europe’s largest natural harbour, with opportunities for boat trips, kayaking or paddleboarding and scenic harbour cruises. Stroll along Poole Quay and through the historic Old Town with its quirky shops, pubs and cafés, or explore the ornamental beauty of Compton Acres gardens. Nature lovers will enjoy Poole Park, wildlife and walking trails around Holes Bay and the nearby RSPB reserves, while Brownsea Island in Poole Harbour is perfect for bird-watching and peaceful walks.
