Olde Barn Gardens Dawlish Holiday Cottage is ideally located between Dawlish and Starcross, offering a peaceful Devon countryside retreat with easy access to the coast. The property is particularly well known for its beautiful spring, summer and autumn garden displays, featuring colourful flowers and hanging baskets that create a picturesque setting throughout much of the year.

The accommodation is spacious and thoughtfully laid out, with a separate lounge, dining room and fully equipped kitchen that opens into a large conservatory overlooking the garden. On the ground floor there is also a WC and utility room. Upstairs, guests will find a family bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath and three well-appointed bedrooms. The large master bedroom includes a modern en-suite walk-in shower and is fitted with solid oak furniture, bespoke wardrobes, a TV, fridge and tea and coffee-making facilities. It also benefits from its own private balcony with far-reaching countryside views and steps leading directly down to the garden. The second bedroom features a double bed, fitted wardrobes, television, mini fridge and tea and coffee facilities, while the third bedroom offers two single beds that can be arranged together if preferred.

The cottage is fully equipped for a comfortable self-catering stay, with WiFi and broadband, central heating, a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing facilities, fridge, freezer, microwave, electric cooker and kettle. There are four televisions with FreeSat located in the lounge, conservatory and two bedrooms. Family-friendly features include child-proof stair gates, a high chair and a cot and all bed linen, tableware, cutlery and cookware are provided. Safety features include smoke and heat detectors, fire blankets and emergency lighting throughout.

Outside, the garden offers a covered dining area with seating for six, a barbecue, chimenea, sun loungers and beautifully maintained flower beds, along with private off-road parking for up to three cars.

Guests are welcomed on arrival with milk, tea, coffee, homemade biscuits and cake, fresh fruit and a bottle of bubbly.

Dawlish is a great base for exploring the South Devon coast and countryside, with plenty of attractions close by. The town itself is known for its scenic seafront, sandy beach and the famous black swans along Dawlish Water, while nearby Dawlish Warren offers a beautiful nature reserve, long sandy beaches and coastal walks with views across the Exe Estuary. Just along the coast, Teignmouth provides a lively seaside atmosphere with a pier, traditional promenade and independent shops, while the historic city of Exeter is within easy reach for shopping, dining and visiting its impressive cathedral. For outdoor enthusiasts, Dartmoor National Park is a short drive away and offers dramatic landscapes, walking trails, wildlife and picturesque villages, making Dawlish an ideal location for a varied Devon break.
