West Heath is a spacious and luxurious self-catering house beautifully positioned in the coastal village of Brancaster Staithe. Just a short walk from the village hub, harbour, popular pubs, coastal paths and local shops, it offers everything families or groups of friends could wish for. Designed with sustainability in mind, the house features a bright, open-plan layout that works perfectly for relaxing or entertaining. Guests can enjoy a summer barbecue on the large south-west-facing terrace or curl up by the wood-burning stove during the winter months.
The ground floor includes a mobility-friendly, step-free bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, a snug with a 65-inch smart TV offering multiple streaming services and a utility room with a wine fridge, Belfast sink, washer and dryer. There is also a downstairs cloakroom and a welcoming hallway with generous hanging space. The heart of the house is the expansive kitchen, dining and sitting area. The modern kitchen is equipped with two ovens, including a steam oven, a microwave, plate warmer, Bora hob, dishwasher, boiling-water tap, coffee machine and a full range of mixers and food-prep equipment. The dining table seats twelve, and the sitting area includes a large L-shaped sofa, a 55-inch smart TV and a wood-burning stove. Bi-fold doors open onto two terraces, one of which features a teak table, twelve chairs and a cantilever umbrella, all overlooking a large, enclosed and well-kept garden.
Upstairs there are two further bedrooms: one with a super-king bed and en-suite bathroom with a bath, and another with twin beds and an en-suite shower. In the garden cabin, two additional twin rooms share a shower room, providing flexible accommodation for larger groups. The property has parking for three cars and is secured by electric gates. At the entrance sits The Siding, a beautifully renovated one-bedroom guesthouse that sleeps two and can be rented alongside West Heath or separately.
West Heath can be booked for groups of six, ten or twelve. For six guests, accommodation includes the main house with three bedrooms and three bathrooms. For ten, the garden cabin is added, offering two twin bedrooms and a shared shower room. For twelve, The Siding is included, providing an extra super-king bedroom, private terrace, well-equipped kitchen, modern living space, smart TV, storage and its own parking area. Towels, linen and toiletries are provided, ensuring a relaxing and comfortable stay.
Our accommodation is only a short walk from the harbour and nearby pubs. It is perfectly placed for exploring the area and for those preferring not to drive, the Coasthopper bus is within walking distance. There is no shortage of things to enjoy during your stay, whether you’re drawn to the wild stretches of coastline, the postcard-perfect beaches, the wide choice of pubs and restaurants, the abundant wildlife or the scenic coastal walks.
