The Cottage is a beautiful Grade II listed property set on one of the most historic streets in Cirencester, the capital of the Cotswolds. Perfect for a couple or a group of four friends, it is full of character yet finished in a modern, comfortable style, with the added benefits of a courtyard garden and off-road parking for one car.
The lounge offers a warm and welcoming place to unwind after a day out, with comfortable seating, a smart TV, DVD player, Sonos speaker and a selection of books and games. Exposed beams and an original stone fireplace with a log burner add character, while a small window facing the quiet street gives you the perfect spot to watch village life pass by.
At the back of the cottage, the bright and fully equipped kitchen has everything needed for cooking and dining, including an electric oven, integrated microwave, gas hob, fridge, freezer, coffee machine, dishwasher and washing machine. A dining table sits beside the window, creating a pleasant corner for meals. The kitchen leads out to a private, enclosed garden where you can enjoy sunshine and alfresco dining. Inside the hallway, there is a cloakroom with a WC and a staircase to the first floor. Here you’ll find a peaceful double bedroom with shuttered windows and storage, as well as a modern bathroom with underfloor heating, a walk-in shower and WC. A separate office space with a large armchair and its own walk-in shower offers a quiet hideaway.
The second double bedroom is reached by a low doorway and a narrow spiral staircase from the landing, giving it a tucked-away, cosy feel. With built-in wardrobes and an exposed beam, it is a charming and intimate space that feels full of character.
