Our farmhouse was originally built in 1726 and has been beautifully furnished to a high standard. The award winning property comes with oak flooring throughout and is perfect for a relaxing break. The lounge comes with an inglenook fireplace with a log burning stove. The lounge also has exposed beams, Freeview TV, a DVD player and doors which lead to a private south facing garden with a patio and garden furniture. The spacious farmhouse kitchen comes with a range of excellent facilities: American style Fridge, microwave, range oven and dishwasher.

The farmhouse sleeps up to 16 people in 8 comfortable bedrooms. Six bathrooms are available. A hair dryer and all bed linen are provided.

Our holiday cottage enjoys lovely views of Weardale. The cottage has an all glass gable end, allowing it to take full advantage of the view. The ground floor comes with an open plan living/dining/kitchen area. The fully equipped kitchen comes with an American style freezer and range oven. The living area comes with a widescreen TV with Freesat and a log burner. Patio doors lead to a private secure garden with garden furniture, a steam and small bridge. The ground floor has two double bedrooms with en suite shower rooms. The mezzanine above the kitchen has a double bed.

Wolsingham is the perfect base to explore a range of attractions in the local area. You can visit the bustling market town of Bishop Auckland. Auckland Castle commands a prominent position overlooking the River Wear, surrounded by formal gardens and 200 acres of idyllic parkland. Your visit to Auckland Castle will soon begin at Auckland Tower where you can find all the information you need to explore the castle, grounds and local area. Lots of superb attractions are nearby:
