Local Area

Foula is perhaps the most relaxing place in the world. Great Skuas, Arctic Skuas, Arctic Terns, Puffins, and a host of other sea and land birds can be found on Foula, a favourite with bird watchers - Foula after all means "Bird Island". Reeling sea birds, Shetland ponies and multicoloured Shetland sheep keep you company as you enjoy the spectacular scenery of Foula; "The Edge of the World".
