About the Brew House

Our holiday cottage is called The Brew house and can sleep up to 6 people. The holiday cottage is traditionally decorated and comfortably furnished while still showing many of its original features such as wooden beams and fireplace.

This building is thought to have been the original dwelling of the farm stable boy back in the 17th and 18th Century. Recently used only as a storage outhouse for many years the building received a total renovation during the latter half of 2009.

Downstairs consists of an open plan living area containing a fully equipped kitchen area television and original fireplace. A single flight of steps towards the rear leads to a double bedroom including a child’s double bunk and en suite bath, toilet and shower/wet room. There is a pull out sofa bed available if you need the extra room.

All linen is included in the price. £100 deposit required.

Local Area

There are lots of things to see and do in the local area including many walks, lots of wildlife, historical towns and markets, fishing and golf. Burghley house is only a short drive away as is the biggest reservoir in the UK.
