About Carnfune & Beinn Ghobhlach Cottages

Our two cottages have a homely feel, ensuring guests have a place to stay that they can truly relax in. The bigger house is called Carnfune and the wee house is Beinn Ghobhlach.

Carnfune

This self catering cottage is a traditional sandstone property that provides accommodation for up to 5 people. The holiday cottage includes a living room with TV, fully equipped kitchen with cooker, microwave, fridge, washing machine and tumble dryer. There is a double bedroom with an additional single bed and wash-basin, one twin bedroom, and one single bedroom. The bathroom has a bath, shower, WC and wash-basin. The central heating and hot water is from an oil-fired boiler in the kitchen, and there is a dining room, and an open fire in the sitting room.The secure garden is at the rear of the property.

Beinn Ghobhlach

This is a wee holiday cottage that is single storey and can sleep 4 people. The self catering cottage has an open plan kitchen/dining area equipped with cooker, microwave, fridge, washing machine and tumble dryer. The living room has a TV and open fire and outside there is a secure garden to the rear of the property. The central heating is oil-fired. The house has 1 double bedroom and a twin bedroom, a shower room with shower, WC and hand basin.

Visiting Ullapool & Exploring Ross-shire

The holiday cottages are in the ideal location for an activity holiday. The area offers fantastic opportunities for:

Walking.
Climbing.
Golfing.
Fishing
Visiting crofting townships where North Country Cheviot sheep are bred.

There are many historical landmarks within a short distance including:

Inverew Gardens.
Polly Nature Reserve.
The Lael Forest Garden and Trail.

This beautiful part of Scotland is also a great place for exploring the Highlands and Islands, ferries sail to the Western Isles and there are also cruises to the Summer Isles.
