Accommodation

This spacious former 17th Century dairy boasts lots of original features, ensuring it is brimming with lots of charm and character. The chocolate box cottage is tastefully furnished and enjoys glorious views over the River Ennig and beyond.

The two-bedroomed cottage sleeps four comfortably and comes with everything your need for a magical getaway in the country. A cosy lounge boasts thick stone walls, exposed beams and an old inglenook fireplace with a wood burner for those chilly days. Cook up a storm the well-equipped kitchen and enjoy some delicious meals around the circular dining table.

Upstairs there are two attractive bedrooms which include lovely oak furniture and comfy beds for a restful night’s sleep. Both rooms share a bathroom.

Outside there is a long garden with walls and hedges for privacy, whilst a patio area with garden furniture is ideal for al fresco summer dining.

Visiting Talgarth & Exploring Powys

We are well situated for the bookshops of Hay-on-Wye, the Brecon Jazz Festival and Royal Welsh Show. Only an hour or so from us are the major cities like Cardiff and Swansea and even the seaside. Should you fancy a nice meal after all that exercise and sightseeing there is no shortage of excellent restaurants nearby. The gorgeous Pwll-y-Wrach Nature Reserve is less than an hour away and the Llangorse Activity Centre is just 5 miles away. Excellent attractions to visit include:
