Summary

Gwynfan Bungalow offers outstanding self catering accommodation only 1 mile from the village of Llanyre. We are based on a family beef and sheep farm near Llandrindod Wells, perfect for a peaceful getaway in Powys.

Accommodation

Our wheelchair friendly cottage sleeps up to 6 people and boasts stunning views towards the Radnorshire forests and Brecon Beacons in the distance. The raised patio area has a hot tub with LCD lights and a luxury bamboo gazebo with seating, perfect for admiring the dark skies and star gazing.

Inside there is an open kitchen and dining room with a range of appliances: fridge, electric cooker, ceramic hob, dishwasher and microwave. There is a large table with seating for 6 and a breakfast bar. We provide a welcome pack of a bottle of wine, , Welsh cakes, milk, tea and coffee. A utility room houses a washing machine.

Unwind in the spacious lounge and enjoy the view through the bay window. Facilities include reclining leather sofas, an open fireplace, an LCD flat-screen smart TV and a radio.

In total, we have 3 large bedrooms with 100% cotton sheets. A hair dryer and towels are provided. The rooms share a bathroom with a full-size bath suite and a separate walk-in shower cubicle.

The garage outside houses a deep freezer, tumble dryer, BBQ, pool table, football table and table tennis.

Visting Llanyre & Exploring Powys

We are the perfect base for exploring the area. Only 3 miles from us is Llandrindod Wells. The town has lots of shops, restaurants, cafes and much more. Visit the National Cycle Museum or stroll around Llandrindod Wells Lake. You can also play a round at the Llandrindod Wells Golf Club. Attractions to visit include:
