Our charming property sleeps up to 4 people and comes with everything you will need for a special getaway.On the ground floor there is a charming garden room to relax in which overlooks the garden. You can also unwind in the lounge which comes with Freeview TV. We have a completely refurbished luxury kitchen which comes equipped with an electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, cold and boiling water from the one unit, microwave, combined fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumbler dryer and dining area.
Two lovely twin bedrooms are available. Both rooms share a modern bathroom with a shower over the bath. All bed linen and towels are provided.
Visiting Scone & Exploring Perthshire
Once the seat of Scottish parliaments and crowning place of Kings, Scone is a place that breathes history, boasting its own Palace, which is home to the Earls of Mansfield. Poised over the River Tay, the palace is an interesting visitor attraction overlooking the routes North to the Highlands and East through Strathmore to the Coast. The Grampian Mountains form a distant backdrop and across the river stands the fair city of Perth, with its acclaimed open spaces, riverside walks and many cultural attractions including a Victorian theatre and a contemporary concert hall, only 2 miles away.There are many RSPB sites and National Trust properties close by. The village of New Scone sits close to the A94 only 2 miles North of Perth, giving easy access to explore Perthshire, Angus and coastal Fife - St Andrews is a popular tourist destination only 35 miles East, making this charming cottage an idyllic base to discover this glorious area of Scotland.
