Sunnyside provides delightful self catering accommodation on a peaceful, quiet lane in the charming village of Kirkmichael. We are a short stroll from the village and close to the Victorian town of Pitlochry. Further afield you can discover an array of attractions in Perthshire.
AccommodationOur fabulous cottage sleeps up to 4 people and is great for a family or group looking for a relaxing getaway. The property is well-equipped and comes with a range of facilities to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
On the ground floor is a cosy living room with comfortable seating, Freesat TV, a DVD player, stereo/CD player and iPod dock. Cook up a storm in the fully equipped kitchen which has an electric cooker, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. Enjoy a lovely meal around the dining table and stay toasty in front of the open fire.
The first floor has 2 attractive bedrooms: 1 double and 1 single with an additional pull-out single. Both rooms share a bathroom with a shower over the bath, bidet and WC.
Outside there is an enclosed lawned garden with garden furniture. The ideal spot for breakfast in the morning sun or al fresco dining in the evening over a few glasses of wine.
Visiting Kirkmichael & Exploring PerthshireThe quaint village of Kirkmichael has a pub, restaurant and well-stocked shop. The area also has an abundance of activities to enjoy, including fishing, walking, cycling, skiing and hiking; further north are the Glenshee ski slopes. Nearby Pitlochry has a renowned theatre whilst Blairgowrie is home to lots of shops and cafes. Golfers are spoilt for choice, with over 30 courses in the area, including Rosemount and Gleneagles. Excellent attractions to visit in the area include:
Blair Athol Distillery.
Black Castle Ruins.
