Unique in its peaceful country setting, you will be surrounded by natural gardens, a lochan and woodland areas, making us the ultimate holiday destination.
Muckle HowfThe Muckle Howf is a traditional Scottish stone built steading converted into a luxury, 5 Star Visit Scotland holiday cottage which sleeps up to 6 people. There are 3 double bedrooms all with their own en suite. The ‘whisky lounge’ is on the upper floor, perfect for enjoying the glorious countryside views. There is also a relaxing and comfortable sitting toom with a library and wood burning stove and spacious kitchen/dining room. The kitchen is fully equipped and comes with a range of excellent appliances.
The award winning property also benefits from having a sauna room with invigorating shower and infra red sauna. Outside is also a hot tub which is private and secluded. Guests can also unwind in the private garden or on the pretty patio area. There is also a firepit to keep you warm and cosy.
Our bespoke, handcrafted collection of glamping options offer you a personal, unique and secluded space for a different experience of the outdoors. You have a choice between the Wee Howf, the Summer Howf, the Tree Howf and two Hobbit Howfs.
Wee HowfThe glamping home is secluded and enjoys breathtaking views of the lochan and countryside. This romantic cabin for two lets you experience camping with a difference. The cabin is fully insulated with a log burning stove and candle light but there is no electricity. Excellent facilities include soft bed linens, gas camping cooker, outdoor open fire and BBQ pit, cooking, crockery and eating utensils. There is also a private shower, compost toilet, wash hand basin.
Summer HowfThe renovated Summer house comes complete with its own electricity and is furnished to give you a feel of camping but most definitely in a garden style. Located amongst the trees alongside the duck pond, the holiday home includes an array of superb facilities: wood burning stove, bed balcony with star gazing window, gas camping cooker, outdoor open fire pit with initial wood supply, cooking and eating utensils and private outside seating area with canopy and picnic area.
Tree HowfThe Tree Howf is a beautifully designed and crafted masterpiece. Built high up within the branches of the tree it has amazing 360 degree views over the Ochil hills and beyond. Wonderful facilities include: hand made rustic king size bed with bedside lighting, wood burning stove, antique Belfast sink with hot and cold running water, luxurious integral hot shower with adjacent wash hand basin and downstairs toilet. The Tree Howf also boasts a fire pit and BBQ.
