Felindre Cottages offers self-catering accommodation in a timber lodge near Porthgain, close to St Davids in Pembrokeshire. Ideally located, the lodge is just a five-minute walk from the fishing village of Porthgain, the Sloop Inn pub and the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, making it a perfect base for exploring the coastline.

Bryn Bach, meaning “Little Hill” in Welsh, is a charming three-bedroom log cabin at Felindre, sleeping up to four or five guests and offering the unique experience of lodge-style living just a few minutes’ walk from the sea. South-facing, the cabin features sliding doors that open onto a sunny veranda, providing a perfect spot to relax and take in panoramic views across fields and woodland towards Llanrhian. Inside, the lodge has two double bedrooms and one single, along with a spacious open-plan living area that combines the kitchen, dining and sitting spaces. Additional features include underfloor heating, a bathroom with bath, shower and WC, a separate cloakroom and a fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher and fridge/freezer. Guests can also enjoy a TV with DVD player, a laundry cupboard with washing machine and tumble dryer, Wi-Fi, parking for two cars and outdoor seating on the veranda with a picnic table and chairs.

Pembrokeshire's mild Atlantic climate means you can enjoy a walking holiday here at any time of the year - indeed, coming out of season means you can have some of the best walks in Britain virtually to yourself. There are endless options for those who want no more than a day’s walking or an early evening stroll and Felindre is just a few minutes away from the Coastal Path.

There are twenty different beaches within a 12-mile radius of Felindre. The beautiful National Trust beach at Traethllyfn, (pronounced tray-thloo-in), is just 1 mile away and can be reached by footpath from Felindre, either through the farm or across the cliff path. You cannot drive there but that just means there are fewer people on the beach! If you need to drive to a beach there are lots of others close by, including Abereiddy, Whitesands and Newgale, as well as plenty of coves with rock pools and opportunities for fishing. There are three local golf courses near Felindre, including St Davids, a beautiful course, with superb sea views. Also Priskilly and Newport have great courses too.
