Upper Calffield Farm offers a range of accommodation including a 6 bedroom farmhouse and 2 converted barns sleeping 4 and 2 respectively. We are set in beautiful countryside ten minutes from the amenities of the county town of Haverfordwest and a 20 minute drive from a range of sandy beaches.

The Farmhouse (sleeps 11)

This spacious property is perfect for a large group. The large living room is brimming with character and comes with exposed beams, natural stone walls and two sittings areas each with a woodburner. Facilities include NOW TV and a DVD player. A well-equipped kitchen comes with a range of excellent appliances including an American fridge freezer, dishwasher, range cooker with two ovens and a microwave oven. A large oak table seats up to 10 people and enjoys views of the garden and paddocks. Patio doors open onto to the garden where you will find a range of garden furniture and a log cabin games room with a table tennis table, dartboard, TV, sofa and comfortable chairs.

The master bedroom has a king size bed, an A-frame beamed ceiling and a full-length picture window with stunning views; it has a separate dressing room and en suite shower room. There are two other doubles and one small double and a family bathroom with bath and shower. Downstairs there is a twin bedroom (can be converted to kingsize) and a single bedroom sharing access to a large Jack and Jill en suite shower room with walk in shower. There is also a small shower room off the utility room.

The Barn (sleeps 4+)

This superbly converted barn offers spectacular open plan accommodation yet retaining original features such as beams and arrow slit windows. The large open plan reception room has an oak beamed A frame ceiling, oak floor with large oriental rug and a conservatory dining area with French windows opening onto the terrace with outdoor seating. There is a large leather corner sofa, an additional sofabed and a wall mounted TV with BBTV. The well-equipped kitchen has an American fridge freezer, range cooker and dishwasher. The master bedroom boasts a huge American king size oak bed, extensive wardrobes, an oak floor and French doors opening onto the terrace area. The luxurious main bathroom has a stunning freestanding bath and a walk in shower with a rainfall showerhead, and WC.

The second bedroom has a double bed and wardrobe and there is a second shower room with a loo and washing machine. The lobby has hanging space for coats.

The Studio (sleeps 2+)

This newly converted barn is perfect for couples looking for somewhere cosy yet elegant to stay. It has an open plan living room with original features and a fully equipped kitchen, a double bed, sofa bed, coffee table and TV. There is a separate walk-in shower room with vanity unit and WC. We also provide a picnic bench and BBQ for your use, overlooking the fields, paddocks and Shetland ponies.

Visiting Haverfordwest & Exploring Pembrokeshire

You can visit lots of excellent attractions in the local area. Within a 20 minute drive there are a range of huge sandy beaches including Newgale Beach and the spectacular Pembrokeshire cliff path. There are boat trips where you can see seals, dolphins, porpoises and even the occasional whale. There are many castles including Pembrokeshire Castle, birth place of Henry V11 and Carew Castle. Close by there is a trampoline park and an indoor play park for young children. We also have the Wickedly Welsh Chocolate Company, popular with children and adults alike!
