Dyffryn Tawel is a white cottage next to the 30 acre woodland and farmland. The idyllic and peaceful setting is within Dinas Cross village, Pembrokeshire. Newport is a short journey away with its local amenities. On the banks of River Nevern there are walks and over half a mile of area to fish.
About The Stone CottageThe cottage is perfect for walkers, families and those with dogs. It can accommodate 8 people in a king size en suite, double, twin and bunk room. All rooms are finished to a high standard with neutral decoration. Beds are made on arrival along with towels.
The living room benefits from high ceilings, wood burner, TV, Blu ray player and Wi-Fi. The huge kitchen is well equipped with a Range cooker, microwave, American fridge/freezer, dishwasher and seating area. Off the kitchen is a utility room complete with washing and drying facilities. The separate dining room can seat 8. This room has French doors that open out to the elevated patio. Down from this is the lawn area with BBQ and plenty of room for outdoor activities.
Within the grounds there is plenty of wildlife by the river or in the woods. This is a beautiful space for families, children, walkers and wildlife lovers.
Visiting Dinas Cross & Exploring PembrokeshireDinas Cross village is centrally placed between Fishguard and Newport. The pretty village has stone built cottages, a shop, garage and pub. At the end of the village is a cove with the remains of Cwm yr Eglwys church.
Newport is an idyllic town with a number of pubs, shops, restaurants and cafes. It has plenty of outdoor activities such as kayaking, sailing, golfing and rock pooling. Some points of interest close to the town include Newport Tower, Marble House and Fort Adams.
The county of Pembrokeshire is a holiday destination for all ages. It is popular for all things outdoors. It has award winning beaches, national parks and breath taking views. There are a range of attractions to visit such as:
