The Fisherman’s Cottage:

This charming property is perfect for a small family or couple, offering original fireplaces, beamed ceilings and gorgeous flagstone floors. The cottage has been beautifully renovated to offer luxurious accommodation and enjoys glorious sea views. Inside the cottage is a cosy sitting room with Freeview TV/DVD player, underfloor heating, a multi-burning stove, Freeview TV/DVD player, Bose iPod dock and charger and comfy seating.

Rustle up some delicious dishes in the shaker-style kitchen which comes with a double oven, ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer. Two attractive bedrooms are available, a king room and a second bedroom with a day bed.

The Merchant’s House:

Our wonderful four-bedroom house is brimming with character, ideal for the ultimate coastal holiday. The spacious house is great for families or groups and enjoys stunning sea views. Inside there is a fully-equipped kitchen with a range of appliances: fridge/freezer, microwave, range cooker with ceramic hob, dishwasher, washer/drier, flagstone floor with underfloor heating, toaster, food processor and coffee grinder. Enjoy some delicious meals around the dining table which seats 8 people.

Unwind the living room after a day sightseeing. Facilities include a multifuel stove, underfloor heating, comfy seating, sofa bed, TV and DVD player. Bedrooms consist of a double en suite room with a castle iron roll-top bath and shower, a twin en suite room, a loft room and a double en suite room. A family bathroom is also available.

The two houses share a garden and courtyard, with an outhouse including a larder freezer, coal supply, garden chairs and storage for bikes etc. The outdoor space is perfect for a morning coffee whilst enjoying the amazing sea views.

Visiting Stromness & Exploring Orkney

The picturesque old town of Stromness is a lovely town to explore, home to winding streets that follow the shoreline, delightful alleyways and spectacular landscape. The town also has an abundance of cafes and shops to browse. You can visit the fascinating Stromness Museum or see the acclaimed Pier Arts Centre. Great attractions to visit include:
