Kirkdale Apartments offers superb self catering accommodation in the beautiful village of Evie. Nestled in a scenic part of Orkney’s west mainland, we are ideal for a relaxing break in a great location.

Accommodation

All the apartments are beautifully furnished and come with everything you need for a comfortable getaway. All the apartments boast original features whilst offering modern accommodation. On arrival, we offer a lovely basic pack of complimentary groceries, including Orkney biscuits, Stockan's Orkney Oatcakes, Orkney Fudge, locally produced milk, eggs, rolls and cheese.

The Rousay

This delightful apartment sleeps 6 in 1 twin and 2 double rooms. There is a family bathroom, an en suite in one of the doubles and a small WC on the first floor. The spacious open plan kitchen/dining/lounge area will suit all your needs. A utility room is on the ground floor.

The Eynhallow

Our wonderful apartment sleeps 6 in 2 doubles and 1 twin room. One of the doubles has an en suite and there is also a family bathroom. A cosy open plan living/kitchen/dining area is well-equipped.

The Egilsay

This superb apartment sleeps 4 in 1 twin and 1 double. One of the doubles has en suite facilities and there is also a family bathroom. There is a spacious open plan living/dining/kitchen area.

The Wyre

Our lovely apartment sleeps 4 in 1 double and 1 twin room. Both rooms share a shower room and there is an open plan kitchen/diner/lounge area.

Visiting Evie & Exploring Orkney

We are in a fabulous position for exploring the area. The local shop and Post Office are only a short walk away, as well as the gorgeous sandy beach of Aikerness. You can visit the spectacular Broch of Gurness, the best-preserved broch on the archipelago. South-west of Evie is the RSPB Birsay Moors Reserve, home to an amazing array of birdlife. Great attractions to visit include:

Skara Brae Prehistoric Village.
Ring of Brodgar.
Old Man of Hoy.
St Magnus Cathedral.
Italian Chapel.
