Creya provides wonderful self catering accommodation in Evie. Our old 19th Century stone farmhouse has been sympathetically renovated to offer high-quality accommodation in Orkney.

Accommodation

Our luxurious property provides a true home from home, the ideal place to relax and unwind. The house is based in a tranquil position at the end of a track within its own land and garden. In total, the property sleeps 6 people, great for a family or group holiday.

A well-equipped beamed kitchen comes with a range of brilliant appliances for cooking up some delicious dishes: electric induction hob, warming drawer, dishwasher, oven, multi-function oven, microwave, fridge and freezer. You can relax in the fabulous open plan living/dining area which includes a multi-fuel stove, a Freesat Plasma TV and Blue Ray player. From the living area, you can savour outstanding views whilst enjoying a cup of coffee. You can also unwind in the snug with a good book.

Bedrooms consist of a spacious king en suite room, a twin/super king en suite room and a twin bedroom. All bed linen and towels are included. The family bathroom has a shower over the bath and a cloakroom has a WC and wash hand basin. Upstairs benefit from underfloor heating with radiators.

Outside children can play on 3 grassy areas, whilst an additional sheltered courtyard is also available.

Visiting Evie & Exploring Orkney

We are only a 20-minute drive from Kirkwall or Stromness, home to interesting shops and fantastic restaurants. The gorgeous sandy beach at Aikerness is next to the ancient Broch of Gurness and only a 5-minute car ride away. The local shop and post office are around 2 miles to the northwest and The Tingwall ferry is roughly 3 miles away. You can also travel to the beautiful islands of Rousay, Egilsay and Wyre. Great attractions to visit include:

Skara Brae.
Standing Stones of Stennes and Maeshowe.
Ring of Brodgar.
Old Man of Hoy.
St Magnus Cathedral.
