Summary

Unigar Cottages are a trio of environmentally friendly self catering cottages in a peaceful and secluded setting within the Orkney community of Quoyloo. Although secluded the holiday cottages are only a short drive from the popular town of Stromness.

Scarwell Cottage (sleeps 4)

This holiday cottage can sleep 4 people in a double en suite and a twin room. It has open plan living areas, utility room and patio with seating.

Cruaday Cottage (sleeps 6)

Cruaday is one of the larger properties accommodating 6 people in a double en suite and 2 twin rooms. There is a living area, open plan kitchen/dining room, utility and patio area. Hot tub coming soon into Cuaday Cottage!

Gairsty Cottage (sleeps 6)

This holiday cottage sleeps 6 people in a double en suite and 2 twins. There is an open plan kitchen/diner and living room. There is also a utility room, spacious sun porch and patio area.

Visiting Quoyloo & Exploring Orkney

The holiday cottages are situated in the West Mainland of Orkney with spectacular views and although, peaceful and secluded, are within easy access of a wide range of local amenities and sites of interest.

We are just 4 miles from Dounby Village where you will find shops, a pub, a cafe, fuel and a pharmacy. Closer to home there's a local shop & post office well equipped should you need them. We are just a minutes walk from the Orkney Brewery and there is great brown trout fishing to be had at both Boardhouse and Harray Lochs.

With everything you could need nearby, the cottages are still located within easy driving distance of both Kirkwall & Stromness. If you want to eat out there are some good restaurants close by.
