Howe Farm Cottages

All of our cottages are beautifully furnished and come with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Each cottage comes with a well-equipped kitchen, cosy living room, modern bathroom and comfortable bedrooms.

Bruna, Lindum & Roadside have unrestricted views of Scapa Flow and Hoy Hills. Bruna is a detached cottage and Lidum and Roadside are 2 semidetached cottages. The 4th and 5th cottages are Congesquoy 1 & Congesquoy 2. There are situated in a quiet location beside the sea and 1.5 miles from the town of Stromness.

All of our cottages are fully equipped and include all the modern conveniences you could possibly need such as TV with Freeview, DVD player and Wi-Fi internet access so you can stay connected during your stay. Our kitchens are also superbly equipped with modern appliances including electric cookers, microwaves, ovens, fridge and washing machines.

All linen and towels are included in the price of the stay as is heating which is provided by storage heaters.

Visiting Stromness & Exploring Orkney

Ideal for relaxing walks on to the seashore where the seals can be seen and within walking distance of Stromness and ferry terminal. Located conveniently close to Stromness all five of our cottages provide ideal bases for exploring all that Orkney has to offer. Nearby there is beautiful golf 18-hole golf course and you can visit the ancient sites of The Stones of Stenness and the Ring of Brodgar, two of Britain’s best-preserved prehistoric monuments. Wonderful attractions to visit include:

Stromness Museum.
Maes Howe.
Skara Brae Prehistoric Village.
Graemsay.

Maximum of 6 people in the barn and maximum of 4 in each cottage.
Children are welcome.
Pets are welcome in the cottages but in the barn.
