Accommodation

This delightful cottage sleeps up to 4 people and is the perfect place to escape from the hustle and bustle of modern life. The cottage is tastefully furnished throughout and comes with a range of facilities to suit all your needs.

The lovely open plan sitting/dining/kitchen area is great place for relaxing in. The fully equipped kitchen has a washing machine, microwave and fridge/freezer, whilst the living area has a TV, DVD player and radio/CD player.

Bedrooms consist of a double room and a first-floor twin room. Both rooms share a bathroom with a shower over the bath on the ground floor. All bed linen is provided.

Visiting Brownridge & Exploring Northumberland

We are around halfway between Wooler and Berwick-upon-Tweed. Nearby is the village of Lowick on the ancient Roman road, the Devil’s Causeway. You can enjoy sandy beaches just 6 miles away and the Cheviots is perfect for walkers. The area has lots of fantastic golf courses and we are only six miles to Holy Island and fifteen miles to Farne Islands. Further attractions to visit include:

Berwick-upon-Tweed Barracks and Main Guard.
Berwick Castle.
Spittal Beach.
Paxton House.
Royal Border Bridge.
