Summary

Cove Cottage provides wonderful self catering accommodation in the charming hamlet of Waren Mill. We are next to the sea at Budle Bay and close to Bamburgh, Belford, Holy Island and miles of stunning, sandy beaches. The cottage is truly perfect for a memorable holiday on the Northumberland Heritage Coast.

Accommodation

Our superb barn conversion is furnished to a high standard and boasts lovely features, including original beams. It is part of a group of 4 properties set around a shared courtyard called Smugglers Court.

On the first floor is a delightful open plan kitchen/dining area with a fully fitted oak kitchen with an electric fan oven and grill, induction hob, extractor, microwave, toaster and dishwasher. You can savour some delicious home-cooking around the oak dining table which seats four.

Relax and unwind in the cosy lounge area which has original oak beams, two sofas and a traditional piece of oak furniture. On a chillier day there is a cast iron log burner-style electric fire to keep you warm. Facilities include a fully stocked bookcase and a good selection of DVDs and CDs, a flat-screen TV with Freeview, Now TV and Sky cinema and a DVD player. Children can play on the Sony Play Station PS3.

The ground floor has two beautiful bedrooms: a twin and king room. Both rooms share a family bathroom with a power air-boost electric shower over the bath.

Outside there is a seating area with a table and chairs, the ideal sun trap while enjoying a drink or two.

Visiting Waren Mill & Exploring Northumberland

Northumberland has an abundance of stunning natural beauty, majestic castles and historic houses. Take a scenic boat trip to the Farne Islands or head to the world-famous, Hadrian’s Wall. Closer to home is the nearby village of Bamburgh where you can see Bamburgh Castle and its outstanding beaches. Great attractions to visit include:

Budle Bay.
