Riverside Cottage offers superb self catering accommodation in West Thirston. Our cottage is close to Morpeth in Northumberland, making us the perfect base to explore the local area.

Accommodation

The cottage sleeps up to four people and enjoys glorious views of the River Coquet.

The tastefully furnished property includes a living room with 40’’ LCD TV/DVD player, BlueRay player and cast iron open fireplace. The contemporary kitchen is fully equipped to meet all your needs and includes a microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. The dining room seats up to 4 people and includes and original grate fireplace with a bread oven.

Two bedrooms with luxurious Egyptian cotton are available: one double and one twin room. The modern bathroom has a panelled bath with hand held mixer shower head plus electric shower over.

Outside is a seating area and BBQ. An ideal place for a spot of al fresco dining.

Visiting West Thirston & Exploring Northumberland

Lots of amenities are available in the in village. You will find shops, a Post Office, bakery, pub and a cafe. In Morpeth you can enjoy the peaceful gardens of Carlisle Park. If you are staying for longer visit Alnwick Castle and The Farne Islands. Lots are famous attractions are nearby:
