Accommodation

Our Listed stone cottage has been beautifully converted from an old coach house and byre to offer high-quality accommodation. The cottage still retains many original features, including old windows, a fireplace and oak beams. All furnishings and fittings create an atmosphere of comfort and elegance in keeping with the character of this lovely restored listed building.

This 18th century coach house boasts a spacious and relaxing dining/conservatory which enjoys delightful views over the large garden and 12th Century church. You can also unwind in the lounge area which has a TV/DVD player and comfortable seating. In the winter months the biomass central heating will keep you nice and warm. A modern kitchen comes with a range of appliances: washing machine, tumble drier, dishwasher, microwave, fridge and freezer.

Two attractive bedrooms come with twin beds. The bathroom has a WC and basin and a separate shower room with a WC and basin is on the ground floor.

Outside there is a large garden with seating. The ideal place for al fresco dining over a few glasses of wine.

Visiting Lesbury & Exploring Northumberland

We are ideally located to take advantage of the many attractions this unspoilt part of the country has to offer - miles of beautiful golden beaches, stunning coastal walks, many golf courses, old market towns, the Cheviot Hills and the rugged beauty of the Northumberland National Park is only a short drive away. In Lesbury there is a lovely village shop and post office, fabulous pub and miles of breathtaking countryside to enjoy. Alnmouth Station is only a 10-minute walk from the cottage. Great attractions to visit include:

Dunstanburgh Castle.
Hadrian’s Wall.
