It has uninterrupted views towards the dunes, which lead to the vast beautiful beach, all within walking distance. The constant roar of the sea is never far away. This homely holiday home is perfect for a relaxing getaway in a beautiful part of the country. The recently decorated property also boasts a fully enclosed and secure garden, great for young children to play in.

The holiday cottage which sleeps 6 people consists of:

3 bedrooms (ground floor double with newly fitted en suite shower, washbasin and WC. 1st floor; double and twin).
Newly fitted kitchen, including; electric oven and hob, microwave fridge/freezer, washing machine, iron and ironing board.
Newly fitted family Bathroom - Bath, over bath shower, washbasin and WC.
Lounge and dining area open plan.
Lounge with log/multi-fuel burner – coal and a generous supply of logs are provided.
Flatscreen TV with Freeview, DVD player, 2 x Bose CD and radio music system.

Visiting Goswick & Exploring Northumberland

Goswick Sands is a spectacular area of unspoilt coastline which stretches from the beautiful Holy Island of Lindisfarne up to the historic border town of Berwick-upon-Tweed. This magnificent stretch of sand, sea and sky, with its high, undulating grassy dunes, rocky outcrops and rock pools, forms part of the Lindisfarne National Nature Reserve and is home to plants and birds of many kinds. There are footpaths aplenty, and scope for cycling in the surrounding area.

Lindisfarne is said to be the cradle of Christianity; Bamburgh Castle; and Alnwick Castle and Gardens ('Hogwarts' of Harry Potter fame) or travel inland to visit the Cheviot hills, Cragside house or even head over to see Hadrian’s wall. These are among some of the numerous places of interest in this beautiful part of the Heritage Coast of Northumberland. The area will appeal not only to nature-lovers but for the more adventurous and sporting, there are riding stables and Goswick’s championship golf course within walking distance also trips to the Farne Islands for seal and puffin spotting are nearby.

The historic port of Berwick on the river Tweed, which is some 6 miles from the cottage, has many attractions for the visitor, such as its market, harbour, walks along the recently restored city walls and the river, and a wide variety of restaurants, public houses and unique shops.
