Accommodation

Walnut Garth is set in the grounds of the owner’s property. We have attempted to create a home from home so that you can enjoy your holiday to the full.

The two bedroom bungalow is furnished to a high standard. It is tastefully decorated in a modern style with a host of features designed with your comfort in mind. The lounge includes comfy sofa, TV with Freeview and a DVD/CD player with hard drive record facility. A fully equipped kitchen will suit all your needs. Appliances include ceramic hob, oven, microwave, grill, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. The room seats up to four people and includes solid wood table and chairs.

Bedrooms consist of two luxurious double bedrooms. The front room has been designed to accommodate a full size cot or travel cot and change table. A cot, travel cot, change table, change mat, highchair, baby bath, child's toilet seat, potty and toilet step are all available by arrangement. All bed linen is supplied, including cot bedding. Both rooms use the bathroom which includes large walk in shower, built in wash basin, heated towel rail, low level WC and heated floor.

Outside is decked patio with a garden furniture (table, 4 chairs and umbrella). Ideal for a spot of al fresco dining.

Maximum occupancy is for four people and one infant. Child minder facilities can be arranged.

Facilities are available for one or two well behaved dogs with responsible owners. Dogs must not be given access to bedrooms or left unattended for long periods. Owners are requested not to let their dogs foul in the gardens or orchard. There is easy access to fields to the rear of the cottage and many lovely walks.

No matter what type of vacation you are looking for there is something to satisfy your tastes in North Yorkshire. Castles, gardens, railways (old & new), museums and theme parks such as Flamingo Land are nearby. The Yorkshire coast has some of the best beaches. Walks on the North York Moors or through the Yorkshire Dales are also perfect for walkers. Local fishing, golfing, animal & horse farms, aeroplanes and a whole host of other activities are close by.
