The Timble Cottages are a pair of self catering holiday cottages that are located within Nidderdale, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The holiday cottages are an ideal base for those who are looking to explore the north east of England as we are within easy reach of Harrogate, Otley and the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
The CourtyardThe holiday cottage has a log burning stove which creates not only a cosy warm environment but a lovely atmosphere. The self catering cottage boasts the following amenities:
1 lounge/dining room, 1 bedroom, 1 bath/shower room and 1 kitchen.
The property has stairs up to the bedroom and is semi detached and joined onto the owner's property.
Lounge/dining area has a DVD player, Freeview TV, CD stereo and iPod dock, 1 sofa, footstool, dining table with 2 chairs (can be increased to sit 4) and access to the garden.
Heating: Multi fuel stove and central heating. All coal and logs are provided.
Kitchen: Kettle, toaster, microwave oven, oven/grill, ceramic hob, hob extractor, dishwasher and fridge with freezer compartment.
Bedroom: 2 bedside tables, large wardrobe, hair dryer, dressing table and chair.
Bath/shower room: Bath, shower cubicle with glass door, toilet, basin, heated towel rail, linen basket and shaver point. All linen, towels, bathrobes and slippers are provided and electricity is included
The Courtyard has its own private cottage garden and outside seating.
The Old Diary CottagePeace and quiet are guaranteed in this rural setting - a real get away destination but easily accessible to many of the treasures Yorkshire has to offer. The views from The Old Dairy are panoramic and it has its own private garden and terrace.
This cottage boasts the following amenities:
Fully equipped kitchen.
The lounge/dining area has a log fire, DVD player, Sky TV, CD stereo and iPod dock, sofa, footstools, dining table with 2 chairs, access to patio and garden.
Heating Multi fuel stove and central heating (convector heaters). All coal and logs are provided.
Bathroom and en suite shower room has 1 super king size or 2x3 foot single beds, 2 bedside tables, wardrobe, dressing table and chair, access to patio and garden, hair dryer, chest of drawers and under bed storage.
Shower room: Shower cubicle with glass door, toilet, basin, heated towel rail, linen basket, and shaver point.
Utilities available at this holiday accommodation include: clothes dryer, freezer, 24 hour laundry service (have your laundry washed and dried within 24 hours - charges apply).
Other linen, towels, bathrobes and slippers are provided and electricity is included.
Outdoors balcony/terrace, private garden, BBQ, garden furniture.
Catering in the CottagesIf you have had a busy day sightseeing or would like to celebrate a special occasion in the comfort of our beautiful cottages then why not consider our unique service 'Catering in The Cottages'. Our ethos is to present freshly cooked dishes whose main ingredients are sourced from local Yorkshire farms and producers. The menu we have is seasonal and we cater for individual dietary requirements and we even do the washing up for you!
Local AreaThere are plenty of wonderful places to visit in the surrounding area such as Harrogate, Harrogate, Skipton, Ilkley, Pateley Bridge, Ripon, Thirsk and York. A short 15 minute drive will bring you onto the A65 which is the main artery to the Lake District. Timble may be tiny hamlet but is wonderfully situated for reaching all the surrounding towns, villages and cities.
