Lilac Farm Cottages offers superb self catering accommodation in the picturesque village of Levisham, set within the North York Moors National Park. We are happy to show our visitors around the farmyard. There may be a pet lamb to feed or perhaps you would like to gather eggs for your breakfast from our small flock of free range hens.
Harvest Cottage, Stable Cottage and Lilac Cottage are adjacent self-contained properties which may be booked together for a larger family group.
Harvest Cottage: Sleeps 2+ cot
Overlooking the garden this one bedroom cottage was formerly used as a grain store for Lilac Farm. It comprises an open plan ground floor with well-equipped kitchen, dining and lounge area. On the first floor there is a double bedroom with ensuite facilities consisting of shower cubicle with electric shower, wash hand basin and toilet.Stable Cottage: Sleeps 2+ cot.
Adjacent to Harvest Cottage this cottage is the conversion of a stable used for the working horses on the farm. It comprises an open plan ground floor with well-equipped kitchen, dining and lounge area with stairs leading to the first floor. There is a galleried twin bedroom with en suite bathroom. The bathroom has a bath with electric shower, wash hand basin and toilet.Lilac Cottage: Sleeps 5 + cot.
The 18th Century stone cottage has beamed ceilings and window seats in ground floor rooms. It comprises a small entrance hall, large well-equipped kitchen/dining room, lounge with open stone feature fireplace. The lounge overlooks the large village green. On the first floor there is one double bedroom, one twin bedroom, and one single bedroom, also a bathroom with bath, wash hand basin and toilet.Visiting Levisham & Exploring North Yorkshire
Levisham is a delightful village set in the heart of the North York Moors National Park. It has an inn offering meals and children are welcome. There is also an attractive village church. The village is one mile from Levisham Station on the North York Moors Steam Railway, which runs through the beautiful scenery of Newtondale between Pickering and Grosmont.Near to the holiday cottages is the market town of Pickering, where you will find a variety of shops including a supermarket, Post Office and several banks. Pickering also has a heated indoor swimming pool with flume, a sports centre and cinema. Flamingoland Zoo and Fun Park is close by. Within easy reach by car is the historic walled city of York with Minster, Jorvik Viking Centre, museums and numerous shops for you to visit. Great attractions to visit include:
